The national universities commission (NUC) has disaccredited four core courses offered at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)

The Courses suspended by the commision include, law, dentistry, medical rehabilitation, and botany.

Candidates who filled any of the aforementioned course in jamb have been adviced to change their courses or change their school entirely.

The schools Public relations officer, Mr Abiodun Olarenwaju also confirmed the development, describing it as an unfortunate one saying that measures are been taken to ensure the courses regain approval.

A message was sent to the students affected by JAMB to inform them of the rather unfortunate changes.

It read; “Your first choice course did not receive accreditation. Login to your profile and change course/institutions”.
