The director general of the department of state security (DSS) Mr. Lawan Musa Daura has been sacked and arrested for breaching national security.
This came few hours after his men who were masked, laid siege at the national assembly today to facilitate an impeachment plan against senate president bukola saraki and his deputy ike ekweremadu.

The acting president, yemi osibanjo through his spokesman laolu akande, released a statement to the general public through a twitter post, annoncing Daura’s termination as DSS director general.
Shorlty after that Mr Daura was arrested by a joint team of the police and special anti robbery/kidnapping squard (SARS) for “breaching national security”.
He is currently been remanded in SARS custody.
