Sadness filled the air as St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, Inoma, Anambra State, announced the death of their parish priest, Father Charles Chukwukelue Ebele who gave his life for his friend’s in river Niger yesterday.
According to Mr Azubike Imoka, the Priest and a friend were sailing on a boat in the Niger River yesterday when suddenly the boat was about to capsize, Fr. charles then gave his friend the only available life jacket so as to save his life to his own detriment.
Nigerians wolrdwide have discribed then act as a heroic one.
His friend is currently been treated.
