In Ramotshere Moiloa High School in Zeerust‚ North West, South Africa, a 17-year-old boy was arrested and placed in police custody for the killing of his teacher on Thursday, last week.
Pictures of him showing of the knife before carrying out the hideous crime have soon surfaced.
It was gathered that the teacher, Gadimang Daniel Mokolobate had corrected the young boy for skipping the queue at the School feeding programme on Wednesday, 12th of September.
The young boy then decided take vengeance the next day while the school exams were going, he stormed the school armed with the knife and stabbed his teacher to death.
The national spokesperson of the Department of Basic Education, Elijah Mhlanga reported that;
“On Thursday, he didn’t come to school on time. He arrived at 11am and went into the classroom where other learners were writing”.
“Two teachers were in the classroom invigilating. He approached the teacher who had reprimanded him yesterday and stabbed him in the chest several times. The boy ran away shortly after stabbing his teacher but a security guard and other students tackled him”.
Mr Mhlanga added that the boy was suspended by the school authorities earlier this year in March for bringing a knife to school.
The boy is now in police custody and would soon be charged with murder.
