A mattress thief has been apprehended by an unknown snake in Kyenjojo district in the Western Region of Uganda after it found its way to his neck and wrapped itself around his neck while he was about to flee with the brand new mattress he stole.
The suspect who after all efforts to pull out the snake proved abortive, cried out for help, thereby alerting residence of the area who rushed to the scene.
A native doctor was later invited to the scene as efforts to pull out the snake remained a struggle.
