Two men have been arrested yesterday following a failed robbery mission at a shrine in Etitnabo Ezihu in Igboukwu, Anambra State.
Luck was said to have ran out on the suspects after they were apprehended by residents of the community who battered them before handing them over to the police.
It was also learnt that the suspects shot sporadically to aid their escape with the gods they stole, but were eventually overpowered and paraded naked after being battered by the residents
