Former Arsenal player Thierry henrey, has taken his first step into management having replaced Leonardo Jardim at former club AS monaco.
Henry has signed a deal until june 2021 and said on Monaco’s website:”i am very happy to come back to Monaco and extremely determined to meet the challenges ahead.
The Frenchman who made his debut for the League1 side in 1994 and went onto win the title in 1997 before leaving for juventus in 1999, will take over his old club 18th in the league division of the back of three straight defeat.
First up for the 41-year old will be a trip to face Strasbourg in the league before travelling to club brugge in their champions league group, which monaco sit bottom after two games and two defeats.
