Policeman killed over his N120k by Community leader

A community leader has been apprehended by the police for killing a police officer, corporal gbenga adeboyego over a N120k debt.

Jonathan Tsekar, who is the leader of TIV community in Opeji, Ogun state killed and buried coporal gbenga in a shallow grave in opeji town.

It was learnt that Prior to his death, the suspect and the victim were both engaged in a charcoal business.

His corpse was exhumed yesterday as the commissioner of police, Ahmed Illiyasu, led his men to the grave site where the deceased was buried.

According to the CP, the suspect allegedly carried out the evil act on November 24, 2018.

He also added that mr jonathan had confessed to committing the act by “hitting a heavy plank on mr gbenga’s head” so as to avoid paying the #120,000 he collected from the deceased.

The suspect will soon be charged to court for murder
