Garba shehu, the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity in Abuja, on Thursday announced that suleiman Hassan is the newly appointed minister of environment following the resignation of Ibrahim Jibrin, the minister of state.
Jibrin who on December 7 was appointed emir of Nasarawa by the state governor, Tanko Al-Makura announced his resignation on wednesday from the federal executive council (FEC) to enable him assume his new position as emir of Nasarawa.
At the the FEC meeting held at the presidential villa Jibrin express his gratitude to the president for giving him the opportunity to serve in his cabinet.
