A woman has been arrested by Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, for burning her 8-year-old daughter with petrol, over a minor issue in Kaduna.
According to Daily trust, the suspect hid the girl away for 6 days before someone alerted the authorities.
The suspect had reportedly punished the girl extremely for neglecting her duties of caring for her two siblings to watch a tv series.

The mother poured petrol on the girl and set her ablaze. The little girl has been transferred to an emergency unit in a specialist hospital in Kaduna.
