Senator Dino Melaye was whisked away from the Police Clinic in Garki, Abuja, by masked operatives suspected to be policemen.
Melaye was whisked away from the hospital this afternoon at 2:15pm in secretive manner.
The Kogi state senator has been at the hospital since he slumped at the Police headquarters when he surrendered after an eight day siege.

A statement from the police said Dino failed to respond to repeated invitation for questioning on allegations that himself and his thugs fired gunshots at a police officer in Kogi state in July 2018.
Having spent three days at the medical facility, the police said the lawmaker was fit to stand trial for the alleged crimes which he was arrested.
But Senator Melaye has since insisted that he needed more treatment to be fit.
This prompted the police to move the lawmaker from their clinic to the DSS medical centre for further examination.
Senator Melaye’s whereabouts were unknown until reports showed that he had been moved to a Department of State Services(DSS) medical facility in Abuja.
Force Public Relations Officer, Mr Jimoh Moshood, has now confirmed that the senator was moved to a DSS hospital in Abuja, during a telephone interview with Channels Television.
He said that they had moved the Senator to another medical facility in Abuja after disagreement over his state of health.
He also added that the action was taken after obtaining a warrant from a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court to withhold Senator Melaye for 14 days, starting from Wednesday, January 9.
