There was drama at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) last night when Ghanaian singer Stonebwoy pulled out a gun as fellow singer Shatta Wale attacked him on stage after he had just won an award.
Stoneboy who had just bagged the Reggae Dancehall Artist of the year at the VGMA 2019, was attacked by Shatta Wale and his crew while he went on stage to receive the award.
Stonebwoy has since explained why he pulled a gun after the attack last night.
According to Stonebwoy, he brought the gun he pulled on Shatta Wale who attacked on stage because of threats he had received prior to the event.
He further revealed that people had been sending threats of assault and he wanted to protect himself.
The Ghanaian Dancehall artiste further apologized for the fight that broke up between Shatta Wale fans and his fans, and assured that all the problem has been settled.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale has responded in a series of tweets calling out Stonebwoy for endangering the lives of many and calling on Ghana police to do its work.
He also threatened to bring his own gun next time and promised to shoot unlike Stonebwoy who didn’t pull the trigger at the award show.
