A 24-year-old Nigerian girl identified as Kaosiso Ezibe, has been arrested in Canada, after she allegedly scammed a lady of about $300k.
The 60-year-old woman was defrauded by someone parading as a wealthy architect in Toronto whom she met on a dating website.
Between February and March, the woman allegedly started an online relationship with the architect, conversing through emails, text messages and phone calls.

Ezibe had allegedly been the one posing as the architect police revealed as police took her into custody on Wednesday.
She has been charged with fraud over $5,000, laundering proceeds of a crime, two counts of possessing the proceeds of a crime over $5,000 and two counts of possessing the proceeds of a crime under $5,000.
