Arsenal have agreed an £8m deal for defender David Luiz.
Chelsea have agreed to let Luiz, 32, go just months after he signed a new two year contract as the Brazilian made it clear he wanted to join Arsenal .
It is a remarkable late deal for Arsenal with Luiz and Celtic left back Kieran Tierney undergoing medicals today ahead of moves to the Emirates.
Tierney has agreed a five year deal after Arsenal finally brokered a £25m price with Celtic for the left back.
Luiz, 32, will sign a two year contract at Arsenal as he feared he would not play and Frank Lampard moved quickly to resolve the issue and gave the green light.
