Kanu Nwankwo backs Iwobi to succed at Everton

Ex Super eagles and Arsenal Legend Kanu Nwankwo has offered his support towards Alex iwobi following his Record move to Everton.

Iwobi became the most expensive Nigeria player in history ending his 16 years association with Gunners to agreed to a five-year contract with Marco Silva’s men in a deal worth £40 million.

And Kanu said he will continue to be a fan of the Ex Arsenal player in a tweet.

“Once a Gunner, always a Gunner. We are proud of you Alex Iwobi and will continue to support you. Good luck with your new club,” he tweeted.

Iwobi went on to make 148 appearances, scoring 15 goals winning one FA Cup and two FA Community Shields in his 16 years stay at the Club.
