Canadian Rapper Drake, has revealed to a fan that Nigerian singer, Tekno, was not the one who taught him about the words ‘ikebe’ and ‘bakasi’ which he used in a new song with Swae Lee.
In the song ‘Won’t be late’ which is produced by Tekno, Drake could be heard making use of the Nigerian vernacular. This promoted a fan to give Tekno props for telling Drake about the words.
The OVO rapper however came into the comment section to clear the air himself as he said that he had done his own research but that Tekno was still responsible for the vibe of the song.
