A man identified as Kingsley Madukwe has been arrested for beating his wife; Glory Madukwe, to death over her refusal to breastfeed their crying one-month-old baby at Egando, Atan – Ota, Ogun State.
Trouble had started around 11:30pm when the baby had begun to cry out prompting the commercial motorcyclist to ask his wife to feed him.
She had refused as she said she was too tired to breastfeed. When she had attempted to leave the bedroom with the baby left with her husband, he held her back.

He proceeded to slap her ferociously which led to Glory, slumping and dying.

Her corpse has been deposited at the General Hospital Ota mortuary for post mortem examination.
