An alleged pastor identified as Tajudeen Akintunde, has been arrested after hypnotizing a boy, Safari Taiwo, who was sent to pay some money into a bank by his elder sister.
The suspect who was arrested alongside gang members, Omojola Adeyanju and Tunde Ganiyu, had duped the boy at Yemetu, Ibadan.
He had approached the boy under pretext of being a pastor before proceeding to hypnotize him.

The suspects collected the N15,000 he was meant to deposit and ATM card with him and withdrew about N93,000, another N50,000 through the POS and another 43,000.
They told the boy he had spiritual problems and he must drop everything on him in order for them to carry out the cleansing.
A member of the syndicate was then beckoned upon to assist the victim to purchase salt at Iwo road to complete his ritual rites.
Taiwo, however came back to his senses on the way and promptly drew attention to his situation causing his rescue and arrest of the suspects.
