Ex Nigeria Captain Mikel sees red in First Game Back From Suspension

Former Super eagles midfielder Mikel Obi, had a day to forget in his club league game against Aminu Umar’s Rizespor.

The two-time World Cupper took the walk of shame in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time as
Trabzonspor thrashed Rizespor 5-2 in a league game on Saturday.

The former Super Eagles captain played his first match against Rizespor after serving a one-match suspension
for accumulated bookings that saw him sit out the league game at Besiktas.

Mikel will now be unavailable for selection for the next to league fixtures as a result of the red card.
