Real Madrid 2-0 Barca: Vinicius breaks Lionel Messi record in entertaining Classico

Real Madrid defeated bitter rivals Barcelona to go top of the Spanish La liga by a 2-0 Victory.

Vinicius jnr was the hero as the youngster became the youngest player to score in El Clasico in the 21st century beating the record previously
held by Lionel Messi.

Former Real Madrid Star Cristiano Ronaldo was also in attendance at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid opened the scoring in the 71st minute after a tight first half in the Spanish capital.

The teenager wormed his way inside and saw his shot deflected past Marc-Andre ter Stegen via Gerard Pique’s foot.

Mariano put the icing on the cake for Real Madrid with the home side’s second goal just one minute after coming on in extra time.

The win also marked the first time Los Blancos have beaten the Nou Camp giants at home since 2014, and has taken the teams’ head-to-head record to 96 wins apiece from 192 fixtures.
