UNIBEN ends all excursions outside Benin after suspected herdsmen kidnap students

The University of Benin has prohibited all excursions and field trips outside Edo state after the kidnapping of its student yesterday.

Recall that Dockaysworld gave an exclusive report about twelve students and three lecturers of the department of Geology who were abducted yesterday by suspected herdsmen in Igarra, Edo state.

The University has now taken matters into their hands to prevent further incidents by ending all trips out.

There have been reports that the students have been released but have not been confirmed.
