Third case of Coronavirus confirmed in Nigeria

The Nigerian Minister for Health, Ehanire has announced that there is a third confirmed case of the Coronavirus in the country.

He revealed that she was a Nigerian National who had just returned from the UK to the country.

She had self isolated and asked to be tested after which she was found to be positive for the COVID-19.

He wrote:

There is a 3rd confirmed case of #COVID19 in Nigeria. The new case is a Nigerian National who recently returned from the UK, self-isolated & contacted @NCDCGov when she developed symptoms. She is clinically stable.

Meanwhile, according to reports the Nigerian Government had delayed testing of the lady whom had had requested to be tested since Friday.

She has also reportedly not been treated properly as she’s not been given medication or toiletries since her diagnosis.
