Super Eagles defensive powerhouse Wilfred Ndidi, has started distributing bags of rice, beans, garri and semolina to households in Lagos State as part of his efforts to help during the coronavirus pandemic.

As at the time of this report, there are 190 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria, with 20 persons discharged and 2 deaths.

The super eagles Midfielder decided to contribute in his own way by rendering food to the needy during the Pandemic.

Ndidi was born In Delta but grew up in Lagos before travelling overseas to Foster his career.

The initial beneficiaries are residents of Ajegunle, Eti Osa Local Government, Ikeja Barracks and street children.

Ndidi and other premier league players will donate 30 percent of their wages to Charity in a bid to help the needy as the crises Continues to disrupt all sporting activities.
