Senior figures at the Emirates have taken a huge pay cut thus putting further pressure on the players to accept a reduction in wages.
Head coach Mikel Arteta will send a message to the players via an online video informing them on the issue after the players rejected proposals for a 12.5 per cent cut because of the coronavirus crisis.
