English Football Club M Manchester United, anchester United, have made 1,000 youth season tickets available for next season in a bold move to improve the Old Trafford atmosphere.
The introduction of the youth season tickets in the singing section is part of United’s wider strategy of trying to
introduce a long-term, sustainable youth culture within Old Trafford and ensure younger fans have access to live, affordable football.
Since the Premier League was formed, there has been a steady decline in the number of young fans attending games.
And the red devils are now making steps to improve that area.
A statement released by United Group Managing Director Richard Arnold said:
“I want to place on record our appreciation of the hard work and
dedication from the organisers of the atmosphere section.
“The phenomenal support the team gets has been taken to a new level by this successful initiative.
“We will be seeking to build on this next season by extending this section of the Stretford End out towards the south-west corner, increasing the allocation to at least 2,000 supporters.”
This indeed is a welcome idea by the club and we hope to see some special atmospheres at the club in the coming years.
