English Football club Chelsea, have failed to reach an agreement over player wage cuts at Stamford Bridge.
Reports understands the Blues offered a 30 percent pay cut to the senior players In the squad and it was rejected by club Captain Cesar Azpilicueta.
The view from the players perspective was a lower reduction giving Arsenal’s 12.5% pay cut.
Unlike Gunners boss Mikel Arteta, Blues chief Frank Lampard has kept himself apart from the situation, wanting to remain neutral in talks between his players and the club.
The Chelsea Stars are pushing for less than 10% deduction and it is yet to be seen if they can reach an agreement with the blues heirachy.
In other news, Chelsea Foward Oliver Giroud will be offered a one year contract extension at the end of season and talks are ongoing with Tammy Abraham about signing an improved contract until 2025.
