COVID-19: Mother forfeits little son to police in Benin as she ran to avoid getting arrested for breaking curfew [video]

A woman in Benin has caused an uproar after she abandoned her son in a scurry to escape security operatives for breaking curfew.

The young boy named Destiny did his best to give information about himself and his parents to aid his retrieval but was not coherent.

The young lad who was interviewed by an ITV correspondent, told the reporter that “his mother had gone home“. He also revealed that they live around “Total“.

When asked for the name of his mother and father, all the little boy could respond was “Mama Destiny and Papa Destiny”.
