PSG foward Kylian Mbappe, has been awarded the French ligue one Golden boot award for the 2019/20 season after the season was voided due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Mbappe emerged the league’s top scorer despite being level on goals(18) with Monaco’s Wissam Ben Yedder.
However, Mbappe edged out Ben Yedder because he scored more goals from open play, with the Monaco Forward scoring three goals from the penalty spot.
Mbappe also had a better goals-per-game ratio, scoring 18 in 20, the same number in six games less than his rival
The 21-year-old also won the Golden boot last season after scoring 33 goals in 29 appearances.
