Nigerian international Asisat Oshoala, has broken her silence after winning her first league title with FC Barcelona.
Oshoala and her teammates where declered champions of the the 2019/20 Primera Division Femenina season and the Nigerian international finished with 25 goals for the season.
Due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) decided to call off
the non-professional football season in Spain, a move which automatically handed table-topping Barcelona
Femeni the title.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote:
“21 games played, 19 won, 2 draws , 0 defeat , 86 goals for ,6 goals against. Top of the league since game day
3.I’m just gonna say we have the best team @FCBfemeni , congratulations my queens , ever working technical crew , fans all around the world. WE MADE IT !
Oshoala initially joined the Spanish giants on loan from Chinese club
Dalian Quanjian before penning a three-year contract keeping her at the Blaugranes until the end of the 2021-2022 campaign.
