The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced 248 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.

This brings the total number of cases to 4399 with Lagos still maintaining the highest number and more persons dying of the disease.

Jigawa has begun to experience an upsurge in cases as the government has relaxed the lockdown.

Meanwhile Governor Wike of Rivers state has demolished two hotels for allegedly breaking lockdown regulations.

On the 9th on May, we announced 45 discharged cases & 4 deaths in FCT

Due to system error, 32 discharged cases and 2 deaths were wrongly announced

Therefore, FCT recorded 13 discharged cases & 2 deaths on May 9 2020
