Chelsea Foward Callum Hudson-Odoi, has been arrested on suspicion of rape
after allegedly breaching lockdown to be with a woman.
The Pacy winger was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning, with the Metropolitan Police confirming they and the London Ambulance Service had been called to ‘a report of an unwell woman’.
Hudson-Odoi reportedly had an argument with the woman at his home in south-west London. The unnamed woman was taken to hospital.
Although the Chelsea star has been released from custody and bailed, he is still expected to return to the Police station in mid June.
Hudson-Odoi had made 17 appearances for Chelsea under
Frank Lampard in the Premier League this season before the coronavirus pandemic brought football in the UK to a standstill.
The 19-year-old was also one of the high profile sports people to test positive for the deadly coronavirus.
