COVID-19: Nigeria records over 10,000 cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced that 307 new persons have contracted the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease raising the total cases to 10162.

The increase in numbers has remained steady as lockdown has been lifted by the Federal Government though a curfew remains in place.

The special task force handling the pandemic is set to brief the president soon to ascertain the next course of action to take.

The NCDC’s statement reads:
