Members of the Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS, have seemingly continued in their duties despite being banned by the inspector general of police yesterday.

Recall, amidst outcry from the public yesterday, the IGP and the presidency announced the immediate ban of FSARS and other tactical squads from stop and search duties amongst other things.

Less than a day after some members of the group have been caught on tape harassing citizens as usual at Urora in Edo state. There have been several reports from across the country of the rogue group continuing its assault of citizens.

The IGP has warned of consequences against the commissioners in charge if any squad was caught misbehaving and Nigerians now await action to be taken against these ones caught on tape.
