Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has seemingly changed his stance on his ban of protests in the state as he joined a group of protesters earlier today.
The aggrieved Governor took the opportunity to air his issues with the defunct police group as he stated that they had terrorized the state for months.
He blamed the SARS group for the killings and kidnappings that were prevalent in the state and noted that he was the only Governor in the country to stand up them.
He however told the protesters that it wasn’t simply about ending SARS but about a complete reform of police which was his target.
He later took to his twitter page to write:
It is not only ending SARS, every Nigerian should support the total reform of the Police.
We shouldn’t make a mistake, If we #EndSars as they have done the same police people would be used to form another body.
That is what I have always supported and called for.
