Popular Nigerian actor and philanthropist, William Uchemba, has aided the family of late Jimoh Isiaq who was shot during the #endSARS protest in Ogbomoso.

The actor donated the sum of N1 million naira to the family of the deceased.

The UN Ambassador had earlier requested for the contact information of the deceased’s family, as well as those of others who were killed during the protest.

William, keeping to his words, transferred N1 million to Jimoh Isiaq’s family and also revealed his intention to assist the family of the police officer who was shot in a friendly fire.

He took to his Instagram account to appeal to fellow Nigerians to also support the families of the victims.

His post reads,

I was able to reach the father of the young boy Jimoh isiaka that was killed my the police durning the peaceful protest in Oyo state and by the help of God I supported him with 1,000,000 (One million naira) in as much as I know that money can’t bring back the dead, the least we can do is to support them in any way we can.

I also need the contact of the family of the police men that was killed yesterday in Lagos and the other victims, I heard nothing has been done for them, please if you have their contact help me with it. And if you want to also support in any you can please do. We are all they have.

(and for the sake of transparency and integrity we will post whatever we got and share it for them accordingly).

My heart is broken because this people could have been my family members and loved ones.

Thank you @lekan_kingkong for the contact information

Meanwhile Bobrisky has sought out the contact of the family to assist them with some money also.

According to the crossdresser the family deserved to be compensated, so they don’t live in poverty even after losing their son.

In his words,

It’s sad we lost Jimoh isiaq during end sars protests…. but he is gone there is nothing we can do to bring him back. If I have his family account no, or mobile no trust me I will silently send his family 1million without posting it here.

But I don’t have any mean to send d money across to them. 1million can’t bring back his life but d truth is his family can’t loose their son and still remain broke ! Never !!!!! We love u Jimoh isiaq”

Jimoh Isiaq until his sudden death, was a student of Ladoke Akintola University, and was reportedly shot dead by the police today during an #EndSARS protest in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
