Recent Big Brother Naija graduate Erica Nweledim, has responded to fans who shared the reason they were scared of her even though they love her.

The actress had gone on her twitter page to tweet “why are you scared of me?”. It’s unclear if Erica intended this question for her fans or perhaps her detractors.

A fan however took the opportunity to express their own reason for trepidation around the reality tv star.

She wrote:

“You said we shippers annoy you! Since then we have been walking on eggshells and we don’t want to annoy our Star girl ??????”

She made the revelation in response to Erica’s comments about fans who constantly projected her into relationships.

Erica, while responding said that she wasn’t annoyed with all shippers but specifically those who went overboard, even going as far as insulting her in the DMs. She added that she felt she was walking on eggshells around them.

She tweeted:

Some tend to go overboard, they enforce their opinions on me and insult me too in my dms and someone person when they meet me, when I don’t do things their perfect way. I feel like I’m walking on eggshells with shippers.

Erica added that she didn’t mind disagreements but that she wouldn’t allow anyone insult her. The actress who has complained about the high standards she’d put to as a celebrity complained that sometimes, shippers got annoyed with her when she wasn’t perfect enough for them.
