The governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, has commenced a youth empowerment scheme in the state with the giving out of rabbits.
Speaking during the flag-off ceremony on Friday, November 27, the governor expressed that the schemes purpose was to get youth engaged in agriculture as a way of tackling unemployment.
The governor also noted that the agricultural program was going to guarantee food security, empower youths and reduce restiveness among other benefits.
Meanwhile the minister of youth and sports, Sunday has stated that 81 million naira is the amount required to cut the grass at the MKO Abiola national stadium in Abuja.
