The leader of the 30 billion gang, David Adeleke aka Davido has shocked many after he admitted that the new naira-dollar exchange rates nearly put him to tears.
David has taken to twitter to lament the decrease in the value of the naira as he stated that 1 dollar is now equivalent to 500 nairas.
The musician’s confession has made fans weary as he has felt the effect of the economy despite the excess billions in the account.
Recall a few weeks ago, Nigeria’s economy officially went into a recession following broader closure amongst other policies that didn’t seem to pan out.
The fall in oil and impact of the COVID-19 have also contributed to the consequent fall in naira value.
