I’m going into acting – Musician Davido announces career switch after Coming 2 America cameo [videos]

Ace Nigerian musician David Adeleke aka Davido, has declared his intentions to become an actor after his appearance in the movie “Coming to America 2”.

The singer had trended on social media as the sequel to the blockbuster movie was released the previous day. David had shared a video of himself watching his own cameo on screen which involved him performing his sleeper hit ‘Assurance’ in a scene of the movie.

Taking to his Instagram page, David disclosed that the scene had been shot over a year ago before the coronavirus pandemic had struck.

Speaking from his private jet, he added that he was going to venture into acting properly as he’d only performed in this movie.
