Wizkid finally reacts after being dragged for promoting music during June 12 protests

Ace Nigerian Musician Wizkid Ayo Balogun, has responded after being dragged mercilessly for promoting his music amidst June 12 protests.

Recall the singer had labeled Reekado Banks a “clout animal” for promoting music featuring him while the endsars protests were ongoing claiming that it was an insensitive time to do so.

The artiste received similar treatment from followers who felt he was being a hypocrite by promoting his art while people were out protesting.

The Grammy winner’s debut album titled ‘Superstar’ had clocked 10 years, and in commemoration, the singer released the docuseries which featured some industry players who spoke about his legacy.

The release of the series coincided with Nigeria’s Democracy Day celebration and the protests against the clampdown on free speech.

Wizkid has now reacted by taking to his Instagram page to post a photo of the minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed. Many have taken this to mean that Wizkid is revealing that that is his mood.
