A 73 year old woman, identified as, Mrs Cecilia Attah has been killed by her son while she tried separating him from his brother in Nru, Nsukka, Enugu as reported by Vanguardng.
According to reports, Mrs Attah died after she was hit on the head with a plank by one of her son’s who then ran to the nearest Nsukka police station to report that his brother wanted to kill him.
The deceased was a mother of three, one of whom is priest, Rev Fr. Norbert, on sabbatical in the US.

The suspect, Athanasius Igwenagum Attah was seen giving his statement at the police station.

It is not yet clear if the son would be brought up on charges for the incident.
