Reality TV star and entrepreneur Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has completed her attempt to set a new Guinness World Record of most makeovers within 24 hours.
Tacha ended her attempt with 145 makeovers within 24 hours, the highest ever recorded in a single day.
The record-breaking feat took place at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History in Lagos, where Tacha began her marathon session at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11.
The event attracted a large crowd of fans, beauty enthusiasts, and celebrities who came to witness the historic moment. Among those present were Osas Ighodaro, Liquorose, Cross, Chichi, Ike, and chef Hilda Baci, who previously made headlines for breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon in 2023.
Speaking after the event, Tacha described the experience as a “triumph for African women and creatives,” dedicating her success to everyone who believes in breaking boundaries through hard work and consistency.
She could be seen jumping in excitement with her team as she crossed the 24 hour mark, having reached and surpassed her initial target.
