Israel DMW’s ex-wife, Sheila Courage, has shared her thoughts on how people should approach the difficult decision of leaving a marriage.
In a recent post, Sheila said the decision to walk away from a marriage should not be taken lightly and can only be made after seeking divine direction and open communication with one’s partner.
She explained that she often receives messages from people seeking her approval to end their marriages simply because she left hers, but insisted that she remains a believer in love and the institution of marriage. She said she’d never make that decision for anyone.
Sheila, who married Israel Afeare, popularly known as Israel DMW, logistics manager to singer Davido in 2022, made headlines after their marriage ended less than a year later.
The separation drew public attention following their online exchanges about what went wrong in the union.
Despite her public fallout with Israel, Sheila maintained that she still believes in relationships and urged women to rely on God’s guidance rather than external opinions when faced with such life-changing decisions.
