Serenity Royale Hospital debunks trending results for Regina Daniels’ drug test

Serenity Royale Hospital has denied responsibility for a medical report circulating online that claims Nollywood actress Regina Daniels tested positive for multiple narcotic substances.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the hospital said its attention was drawn to a post on “Mid Term Home Detox Report” being shared on social media in the name and of the facility and linked to Daniels.

The management stated that the report did not originate from the hospital and urged the public to disregard it.

It also reaffirmed its commitment to strict medical confidentiality and professional ethics.

The hospital added that it remains dedicated to upholding high standards in medical practice.

The disclaimer comes after a detailed document began circulating online, alleging that Daniels who has been accused by her husband Ned Nwoko of drug abuse, tested positive for cocaine, marijuana, morphine, opiates and high levels of alcohol.

The viral document, which was attributed to Serenity Royale Hospital and signed in the name of its Managing Director, claimed the actress underwent a detox programme between September 9 and October 15, 2025.

It further alleged that a psychological emergency team was called to the Nwoko residence after Daniels reportedly went 48 hours without sleep and became aggressive during an argument with her husband and mother.

The document also claimed she was assessed for agitation, anger and an “elated and evasive” mood, leading to a diagnosis of substance use disorder and the commencement of home-based detoxification.

Family members were said to have been advised to support the treatment while avoiding any behaviour that could jeopardise her recovery.

However, with the hospital’s latest statement distancing itself from the publication, the authenticity of the circulating report has been debunked.

Recall Dockaysworld reported that Ned’s other wife Laila had also accused Regina of drug abuse in the family which was subsequently denied by the actress.
