BBNaija Star Dede calls on fans to reduce pressure on Ex-Housemates

Former Big Brother Naija contestant Precious Ashiogwu, popularly known as Dede, has appealed to fans to ease the pressure on ex-housemates as they adjust to life after the show.

In a video shared online and seen by Dockaysworld, Dede described the post-show experience as overwhelming, admitting that she’s personally struggling to adapt.

She revealed that while she planned to take an extended break from social media, ongoing commitments made it difficult to remain offline.

Dede stressed that former contestants were did not promise to entertain fans every day.

She stated that many are managing personal responsibilities, exploring new opportunities, and navigating major lifestyle changes, all while prioritizing their mental health.

She also addressed fan rivalries, clarifying that most housemates are focused on their own goals rather than competing with one another.

Despite this, Dede said she frequently receives messages pressuring her to post more often, which she finds intrusive.

“People’s mental health is at stake. Give them time,” she urged, stressing the importance of allowing former housemates the space to rest and disconnect without criticism.
