APC reacts to N200M nomination form price claims

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed circulating reports claiming to list prices for expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing them as false and misleading.

In a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party said no decision has been taken and no announcement has been made regarding the sale or pricing of nomination forms for the polls.

“The report is FAKE and did not emanate from the Party,” the statement read, adding that the claims were a “figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination.”

The APC urged members, the media, and the public to disregard the report and avoid being misled by what it described as fabricated information circulating on social media.

The clarification follows widespread online claims suggesting high nomination fees, including figures as high as ₦200 million for presidential forms, which the party has now debunked.

It maintained that no official pricing has been released for the 2027 elections.
