AMVCA 2026: Funke Akindele misses out as Linda Ejiofor makes history (FULL LIST)


The 12th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) held on Saturday night, with actors, filmmakers and content creators across Africa recognised for their work in film and television.

Linda Ejiofor emerged as one of the biggest winners of the night after making history by winning both Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress categories.

Funke Akindele, who was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for “Behind The Scene,” missed out on the award.

Other notable winners included Uzor Arukwe, Lateef Adedimeji, “Colours of Fire,” and “To Kill A Monkey.”
