Two Former Federal Lawmakers Dump APC

Two former Federal lawmakers have dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for different political parties.

In Ondo State, former House of Representatives member Tajudeen Adefisoye, popularly known as Small Alhaji, resigned from the APC after consulting with his supporters.

Adefisoye, who represented the Idanre and Ifedore Federal Constituency, said his decision was linked to concerns about the party’s internal system for handling complaints from members.

He also made it clear that his exit from the APC does not amount to an end to his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He said he remains ready to support the President and contribute to efforts aimed at the success of his administration.

The former lawmaker also instructed that his name and membership details be removed from the APC register.

In Nasarawa State, former Akwanga South constituency lawmaker Samuel Tsebe also resigned from the APC.

Tsebe, who currently serves as a member of the Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission, said he left the party to pursue his political plans and continue serving his people.

He submitted his resignation to the APC chairman in his ward and subsequently joined the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Tsebe thanked the APC and its leaders for the opportunities he received during his time in the party.

He also expressed support for the SDP as the country moves closer to the 2027 elections.
