100 level NDU student dies after being hit by celebratory bullets from politician’s security guards

A 100 Level student of the Niger Delta University, Amassoma, Bayelsa State, identified as Obinna, has been killed after stray bullets from a politician’s security guard hit him.

Obinna had reportedly been urinating close to a bar where the politician was with his friends when his excited security guards had fired off shots into the air. 

It was gathered that the student was hit by three bullets from the last set of gunshots released and was later confirmed dead.

His body has since been recovered and taken to the mortuary.
