There was pandemonium at Ilepo Oke-Odo market in Lagos after a cultural clash between Yoruba and Hausa traders led to many getting injured.

The fight had led to destruction of properties and caused a traffic jam at Iyana Ipaja- Abule Egba road, and on other roads linking to Ilepo Oke Odo.

According to reports, the scuffle has started last night on the 17th of August, 2019, when traders at the market clashed over an unknown issue.

The situation has reportedly escalated as traders started burning wares and make-shift tents.
